The interaction between people serves to rekindle the spirit of these objects from another era. By transcending geographical boundaries, we become active participants in the preservation and transmission of our world heritage, bridging the past and the future

Éléonore de Castro, lecturer specialized in paleontology will be our guide for this journey conducted in English.

This visit will take you back to the prehistoric ice age when the first men occupied the Dordogne. It is a landscape of steppes made of forests frozen lands, reindeers, mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses. We hope this experience will give you a better understanding of the history of this particular period of humanity.

We will follow the evolution of the first hominids in the world and more particularly in the Dordogne, cradle of prehistory in Europe.

We will discover the environment of these first men through their habitat and their way of life with the help of artifacts.
